How does it work?

“Apprentice Portal” mode for KS-Portal

If you are looking for an engineering-related video presentation, a course or a tutorial, get connected to Apprentice Portal and move to the user “Apprentice board” after creating an Apprentice account. For business and student account* activation, a verification by the administrator is required.
Search for a presentation, a course, a tutorial or a live class inside the library catalogue thanks to a classification by category, or using the search engine, or fill a request form in case it is unavailable.
The user consults the video + documents inside the existing publication and can ask questions to the Talent (content creator) to be answered later, or schedule and attend a live course and interact with the instructor.

 

"Talent Portal" mode for KS-Portal

If you will to put on service your skills or communicate about your scientific research or engineering techniques, get connected to the "Talent Portal" and go to the user interface ' Talent board' after creating a Talent* account.
You can upload video content for open access or for sale accompanied or not by supporting documents under a given category. You can offer a live course too, but it is submitted to an agreement with the administrator.
The content price is suggested by the Talent and approved by the administrator. The content is published and marked into the library catalogue only if the content is peer reviewed by KS-Portal's editorial board or insured by a partner institution. KS-Portal provides also a service of audiovisual edition and prospection of the created content. The details of the Talent remuneration are precised in the GCUS in the website and sent by e-mail.
*It is mandatory that the instructor from outside any partner institution justifies his identity and his qualification to guarantee the quality of the published materials. He also must comply with all the conditions concerning the exclusivity of diffusing the content besides the respect of copyrights and the possession of valid licences of the used software inside tutorials. He declares himself the unique responsible in case of rights violation. Please see GCUS for further details.
